Why we need to learn to let go... the longer we hold on to things the heavier they feel.

It is important for us to learn to let things go. We make an error and we feel upset. We have to let go as fast as possible. We give up a home run and we feel embarrassed. We have to move on to the next pitch as fast as possible. We know this, and sometimes we may not realize how long holding on to them can affect us. Watch the YouTube short for an example of this. The video will show someone holding a simple glass of water. Holding it for a few seconds it will not feel heavy. What if we held on to the glass all day long? Eventually our shoulder would cramp and the glass of water would feel like it weighs 50 pounds. We must learn to let things go unless they become too heavy and we buckle under their weight.
