“When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.” Henry Ford

DrM’s Mental Performance Coaching Tip

Pirates, it is a natural human tendency to focus on the negative. At the end of each day, we first go to the things that did not go well for survival reasons. If the intent is to grow from it, it is a useful tool; however, if we allow that review to take away our confidence, motivation, or resilience, we are not taking advantage of the wave adversity brings. We can learn from those "bad" things and begin the next day with more focus and intention. Once you are done with them and you have squeezed the lessons out, it's time to discard them and turn the page. Stay Mentally Ready! DrM

DrM

This is powerful & reminds me of a book called “The Obstacle is the Way”. Love the mindset & this way of framing “negative” experiences.
